Germain is an authentic cheese of the Burgundy region, produced with the utmost respect of the original recipes. This cow’s milk cheese has a beautiful orange rind washed with Marc de Bourgogne (a local grape spirit) and a traditional creamy center with intense flavor. Its taste is balanced, typical and fruity.
Époisses was granted CDO (Controlled Designation of Origin) in 1991 then PDO in 1996.
